Nope. There are plenty of very sparsely populated areas where they could be put and the only ones that would know about it are the jackrabbits, snakes, and an occasional traveller. It is not just the wind farms, they have very large transmission towers associated with them.

We have already seen the bio fuels from corn , which is the least efficient way to produce ethanol, but the most political winning one in the mid west! Brazil makes it from the right stuff – sugar cane.

There is already 1000’s of them in the south west, they work just fine. there is going to have to be compromise on all alternative fuel methods. better get used to it.
