Yeah.
Anything to help the environment.
EDIT: well, i live in Boston. Most people at the vineyard oppose wind farms because it makes their land look "ugly". Come on now. We cant complain about global warming & yet not do anything about it.
No
yes, my brother actually helps construct the columns for the generators, and states if you have one of these generators on your land, you can actually get paid up to $5,000 a month! I would love to have one on my land.
Nope. There are plenty of very sparsely populated areas where they could be put and the only ones that would know about it are the jackrabbits, snakes, and an occasional traveller. It is not just the wind farms, they have very large transmission towers associated with them.
There are democrats everywhere!
NO, they shouldn’t be "everywhere", but there are certain high wind areas that should be wide open to wind farms.
Key is lake effect or mountain range affect.
Absolutely
Yes.
No I see them i Germany and they are not very effective

I don’t mind wind farms, but the liberals will even stand in the way of ‘alternative’ engery.
"Wind energy development environmental concerns include, noise, visual impacts, and avian and bat mortality."
They said people would have to drive around in cars with sails on them for it to be effective, only 2% of the the energy will work with wind.
YES, and unlike ethanol they are actually a GOOD energy source and can save the environment! They are generated without fuel only wind!
What the LIBERALS do not understand is you have to have two things WIND and LAND, and in TEXAS we have a plentiful supply of each! THE land owners here who have allowed the windfarms are making over 30,000 a month for their land usage!
no, I am for environment and against crazy imbecilic mob fashion rage.
Wind mills should be put where there is WIND , not on every backyard!
We have already seen the bio fuels from corn , which is the least efficient way to produce ethanol, but the most political winning one in the mid west! Brazil makes it from the right stuff – sugar cane.
Sign me up! I just need some land! Or perhaps it could be on public land. Free or very cheap energy for all!
We have wind farms where I live. Tho only disadvantage to them is we have more electricity. If your one that says not in my back yard turn off your computer.
There is already 1000’s of them in the south west, they work just fine. there is going to have to be compromise on all alternative fuel methods. better get used to it.
Sure, but wind farms are only viable in a few areas. One of the best is on all that land the Kennedy’s own in Massachusetts, but they are fighting it tooth and nail!
Yes NY
There are plenty of wind farms near Palm Springs.
Yep, seeing as how there already is one right on Capitol Hill.
Yes. Farmers make money from siting a wind turbines on their property–it’s another crop.
Yes, we have them in west Texas. They are not an eyesore as you may thing. They are actually serene and make a swishing sound that is so comparable to the healing powers of a zen garden. PLUS I work for a company that makes them. In the future people will blame me for working for BIG AIR.
Yes, Denver Co…
I wanted to put in an add running by T Boone Pickens…he was an oil man who ran Mesa Hydrocarbons – he was caught up in some scandals and forced out..
I saw this commercial last night and I work in the oil industry and would have to say that he is absolutely correct.

here you go.
I’m in Texas, I can see maybe 100 from my kitchen window but haven’t actually counted them. 60 miles from me there is many hundreds.
And I’m amazed that it’s the liberals and tree huggin lowlifes that don’t won’t them in their back yard. Ted Kennedy and John purple heart Kerry have already said, not in my back yard.
