Sigh...ignorance is bliss for some! In this country, wind accounts for less than 1% of all power generated, though that is changing fairly quickly. In Denmark, 10% of the grid power is made via wind generation, and they plan to increase this to 30% in the next decade! FYI Denmark doesn't have problems with wind power, though they often have surplus capacity they have to dump into neighboring countries.
