What do you think of Wind Energy as an investment?

   This is a new area for energy so it will be a definite field for expansion. The companies that will benefit the most growth and sales potential are the ones supplying the windmills and other such equipment as there will be fewer of them than the installation and operators of wind farms.

   For north america this will definittely be an expanding field. Yes there are some delays as environmentalists and the nimby (not in my back yard) peoples interfere with progress but in the near future in many states and provinces there will be a lot more of this technology.

   I think a definite area for investment before everyone gets on the bandwagon. Good luck.

   I agree with you. Of the green technologies wind and underwater turbines from currents produce the lowest costs per kilowatt and are the most competitive alternative.

   Both stocks that you mentioned are good but do carry a rather high valuation for their projected growth. If you are able to buy it I think Suzlon presents the best value in the group.
