Im doing a science project!! HELP
I am making a small wind turbine (about 1.5 feet tall) for a science project to see which blade shape produces most energy.
I have put blades of the same size and shape on the turbine, tilted at about the same angle (45 degrees)
I put it in front of a fan to measure the voltage (its connected to a volt meter) and the problem is that the numbers that are popping up on the volt meter vary greatly and quickly, sometimes appearing as .02 dc volts to .25 volts
How can I ensure that the voltage remains the constant so that I can actually record the data? I don't want to just put a random number down as the amount of volts it produced
I need the information to do a science project - how is this electrical energy stored?
Edit: What are the waste byproducts of this form of energy?
I am doing a science project on comparing energy sources and i can only find one similarity between coal and wind energy. i also need similarities between solar and coal.
I'm making a small wind turbine for a science project. It doesn't need to produce a lot of electricity, just enough to register on a multimeter. I just need to know: For the generator, are magnets and coils the only things I need for the turbine to generate electricity? Or is there something else I'm missing? I just need this cleared up.
i need to make something for a science project that uses an alternative energy source. it has to be under and i cant do pizza box oven, onion ipod charger, or vinegar powered calculator.
My friend and I are doing a science project and we need some help! Thanks!
I'm doing a science project for my school, and my project is about alternative energy. The candidates for my project are solar cell and biomass energy, but I want something new and innovative, can you guys give me suggestions (since I'm in Indonesia and you guys are mostly from US and Europe so you can suggest a project that has been done in your school, faculty, university, etc.) Any help are appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks and show me some website that might help! This is for a science project please help me!
i have a science project and we need to know whether themal energy is renewable or nonrenewable. Can someone please answer my question?
for a science project i have to make a wind mill or wind turbine ( a small one no taller than a foot long) and then i have to measure which shape of the blade creates the most amps..how should i connect it to an amp meter and where can i get materials to make one?
how should i get the wind turbine to connect to the generator and the meter..do u know anywhere to buy pre made small windmilll/windturbines to hook up to generators
My friend and i are working on a science project and we don't know what websites to go to about windmill energy sooo we need help with finding 3 positive things about the windmills.
Thanks!
i need to know how for a science project and i need to have it light up a night light sized bulb
i need examples of renewable energy resources for a science project. it is due in wed 3rd dec and i need the examples because i am writing a letter explaining what you could use instead of non-renewable energy resources and i need to write down all of them. please could you help peoples, 10 points if you do. and please can i not have any negative answers about looking it up, because it doesn't give me the full works if you know what im saying.
