convert 0.8 of its mass into energy.
How much energy would be available through fusion?
A) 4×10^15
B) 4×10^16
C) 4×10^17
D) 4×10^18
E) 4×10^19
2) Also, For how long could your body then operate on fusion power?
3) Which of these groups of particles has the greatest mass?
A)a helium nucleus with two protons and two neutrons
B)four electrons
C)four individual protons
4)News of a major solar flare today caused concern among professionals in the fields of communications and electrical power generation.
True or False. Why?
5)Scientists are currently building an infrared telescope designed to observe fusion reactions in the Sun's core.
True or False. Why?
6)What is the most common kind of particle in the solar wind, in which the overall charge is neutral?
A)proton
B)electron
C)helium nucleus
If you could please help me I would be so grateful!!!
I have a test in 2 days and need to figure this stuff out!
100 watts and .8 percent. And yes I'm in college. Never been good at science and I may be a dumbass but I still have gpa of 3.2. And this stuff is all new too me, I never took this in high school. I took chem and to me that's easier than this.
Da Jesus, if it's 3rd grade, why didn't you answer it. That's why no one picked you for best answer yet, dumbass. Go and kill yourself. But Thanks everyone else.

I'm thinking about getting my Associates in Applied Science for Alternative Energy and was wondering what kind of jobs I would be looking at. Any ideas as to what jobs require this?

I need a small generator to convert the energy from a SMALL wind turbine. I need recommendations and links, hopefully. If I cant find one, should I make one? The wind turbine is extremely small, its going to be attached a few inches from a car muffler. This is because its for a science fair and we've got to be innovative. Any ideas? thanks.

Now days biofuels are revealved to be of no difference than regular fossil fuels, and even worse especially with the food crisis all over the world.
What were the initial assumptions that people have about biofuels, and did they have "science" to back them up?
Could you please give me links to sites
(this is for a project and im short on references)

I really wanna study "energy medicine" or "biofield science" which is a subdivision of Complementary and Alternative Medicine. I want to be both a researcher and a practitioner. But I have no idea which direction to take. Please help me by giving recommendations and advices! I'm currently in an undergraduate college that doesn't have this degree. So should I major in Biology, Biomedicine,Psychology, Neuroscience, Premed, or Physical Therapy? Or do you know any good schools that offer this degree? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can someone explain to me why alternative energy ( EX. Solar, geothermal, wind, hydropower, etc.) are not being utilized to their maximum potential? please give right answer as this is for a school project that was due the day before thansgiving and i need this done really badly because my grade in science is 45.

this is a science hmw that is due on tuesday, and i need help plz!
the topic is Alternative Energy.
So I need to know how alternative energy sources work. that is the question i have the most problems on... if you wouldn't mind I would appreciate a sentence or two on these two questions about alternative energy sources.
Can we use them to generate electricity?
and
How can we use them to generate electricity?

i want to become involved in the field of alternative or renewable energy as an engineer when i am older. i am wondering what sort of science and math classes would be most important. also any other class suggestions. and my school offers just about anything you can think of so don't hesitate to offer whatever you think would be best.

I hear you, you are sick of Al Gore and aren't convinced in the science behind global warming. But would you buy renewable energy anyway, since it pollutes less? Even if it cost a little more? Say extra a month for 200KwH if your Electric Company offered it? It would be nice if congress passed a law that required Electric Companies to offer renewable energy so that at least you would have the option to buy renewable if you wanted to?
