Big Oil make record shattering profits and the RepCons want to let them keep their billion a year tax subsidies but they want to eliminate Renewable energy tax subsidies which really need it.

Is it a valid argument to claim that: renewable energy is often produced through things such as wind farms which are often placed on working farms and land. Therefore the income gained by the farmers/ land owners through the use of their farms/land can help to support them, therefore supporting local produce and the local economy??
Or is this just too far feched?!

I'm doing a presentation for english class supporting green renewable energy. Are there any short funny videos out there? Please send me a link. Thank you!

Is solar Energy a Real Renewable resource?

Okay so i am doing this project over Renewable energy and i have deeply thought about this. Is solar energy really Renewable? Because if the sun is slowly burning out, and may become Complete darkness one day, it wont make Solar power a Renewable resouce because it will Never last forever right?

What is the future of renewable energy?

What country leads the industry and what specific type of renewable energy is it?

Can someone point me to a Primary or Seconadry source that has the number or percent of American Homes that have access to renewable energy?

Thanks
please, dont just say "30%"... I need a website or a recourse to prove it, thanks

The only factor I'm interested in is employability afterwards.
What I mean is I have to decide whether to do a masters in renewable energy or engineering design and Id like to know which one would give me a better chance of employment

In the future, to what extent will renewable energy meet the future energy demands?

I would like to know industry recognized online courses in green / renewable energy . Would like to explore my options in renewable energy firms post the course. I am in my mid 30's and have under grad degree in engineering.

Seems like this is the case. Why would Republicans act like Renewable Energy is bad? Is it because the Republican Party (and Democrats too) are serving the Petroleum & Nuclear Industries, because those industries are financing their campaigns? Why would you approach renewable energy like it is bad out of some displaced loyalty to your party? Have you ever really investigated RE for yourself?

Such as solar or wind. Most energy companies provide you with a list of sites of renewable energy providers you can easily switch over to. It's only 7-15 bucks more each month! And you're doing something good for the earth, isn't it worth it?
just so everyone knows. I make minimum wage at a hotel. I can afford 7-15 bucks more a month.
FredHH- So now I'm stupid for wanting to do somthing good for the environment?
(Not to say that I don't do everything else in my power like ride buses or bikes whenever I can, recycle etc. etc.)
And even if thats the case and there's a huge conspiracy going on with my local solar/wind farm (which I doubt, I'm sure it's not as simple as you seem to think it is) What is the harm and how does it make me stupid in trying to do something good? I think you're the ignorant one here.
At least I'm TRYING to be apart of the solution and not the problem. can you say the same for yourself?

China's investing in production and implementation of Renewable Energy, and is a big player in solar panel manufacture and installations, so is Japan, Germany, Spain. Why not the USA?

I'm doing a report and I would like to know if California buys Renewable energy from other states or, if they are totally self sustaining in that aspect. Maybe they buy solar energy from nevada or wind energy from Utah? Help?

Can we use the Earth's core or volcanoes to produce renewable energy by using the enormous heat to vaporize water or hydrogen into steam or pressured gas to spin a turbine to generate mega watts of electricity?

The first step would require us to understand the area of continents in 3D perspective. We would have to drill around a one to two thousand mile deep hole from any land mass. Is this feasible?

I need some ideals from answers to make theories for renewable energy class symbol model

I am currently in a pre-engineering program and am really interested in renewable energy such as solar, windmill, and the like. How would I get involved in projects likes this? Mechanical or maybe electrical? I was thinking maybe nuclear, but I dont like chemistry that much. I am also aware of some schools that offer renewable degrees but there are none in my area.

Wind farms? Who supports them?

Who would oppose the development of wind farms and who would support the development?

a resident overlooking the new development in favour of renewable energy

a NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) supporter of wind energy

an electricity-generating company director

a member of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds

a member of Greenpeace for action against climate change

a resident who wants cheap electricity

Give reasons

What possible reason could anybody ever have for wanting to get a renewable energy training certificate?

Might wind turbines cause localised climate change?

Although I certainly believe that renewable energy is preferable to fossil fuel burning, I've been thinking, is it not possible that these options will cause their own forms of climate change? For example, wind turbines should cause a small decrease in wind speed, and as climate is a chaotic system who knows what the end result could be due to the "butterfly effect."

Likewise, hydroelectricity should cause a change in surface heat retention (due to the fact that water retains heat longer than solid ground), whilst solar power will increase the reflective properties of the ground possibly reducing surface heat take-up.

What are your opinions on this?
Also, what options do you think we have instead? Do we have ANY?

I am thinking about electrical engineering or mechanical engineering? which it can be better to work on renewable energy? is there another careers? thank you

Can gravity ever be used as a renewable energy?

can gravity ever be used as a renewable energy. is there any known way of harnessing gravity in a way which gives you more energy then you started with? Thanks
