Between Solar PV, Solar CSP, Wind Energy & Tidal is Nuclear too Dangerous and We don't need the risk?

There are so many excellent renewable energy alternatives to Nuclear and it's imminent dangers, the only ones to really gain are the companies that manufacture Nuclear. We don't need it. Why run the risk, and why subsidize Nuclear? Politics, right?
