The energy they provide is 2%! How are we going to get to the goal of 20% in 10 years????

We need a new Energy Act that restricts oil imports and funds solar development!

The oil corporations are spending so much to defeat this its crazy. Why are they allowed to buy up technology and then shelve it?

And IF the republicans win in November, they will go back to big oil and impose market monopolies again to Exxon. When will we wake up?

How can Obama promise alternative energy within 10 years?

70% of all the cars on the road now are over 10 years old, and there is no affordable alternative in the foreseeable future. Its not going to be any different in 10 years.
Even when a decent alternative to oil is available, it is going to be DECADES before it is the norm.

What a coincidence that Obama won't even be in the white house in 10 years.
