how else can a state produce renewable energy other than wind farms?

Geothermic, hydro, and solar are the main ones that i can think of at the moment. Hydro is not always possible for every state, mainly because they don’t all have running water that they can tap into. Solar works well and developments and being done to make it cheaper and more efficient.
Geothermic, well I don’t know much about it, but i believe it somehow takes the heat from the earth and turns it into useable energy.
