Renewable Energy?
If you wanted to start a career designing and working with renewable energy like solar, wind, hydroelectric ect., what would your job title be?
If I were to start a career studying renewable energy specifically solar and trying to improve on it in the world, what would my occupation title be?
I dont want to work as the person actually buiding it, I want to be the person that figures out how the energy works. I want to work basically with all energy types but want to work on find the best way to store and produce energy. More lik a scientist wrather than an engineer.

It would likely depend on which of those energy systems you were working with.
If you generalize, and work on all of them together, you may be called a ‘Jack of all trades, master of none.’
probably electrical engineer, but for some things they would need many teams, like a windmill needs engineers that can design an efficient propeller blade and stuff, so they need to know about fluid dynamics and stuff and these would be mechanical engineers i think. but certianly you’d want to be an engineer of some type.
You job title will be a design engineer and maybe covering the mechanical, electrical, electronics, and civil field. Either of these can be your specialty. You can take up mechanical engineering if you will ask me, since it will cover all areas you would imagine.
System components would probably be the responsibility of an Electrical Engineer.
How the components go together and function as a unit would be in the field of a Mechanical Engineer.
Or become a Professional Engineer and do the whole thing.
solar product developer, solar cell manufacturer, solar sales consultant… etc. Please see link for lots of Solar jobs.
good luck
Wind ENGINEER
electrical or mechanical engineer.
