I need work!! Just got laid-off! In the oil,gas, or wind energy fields! Will travel where ever!!Help?

Just got laid off and looking for work anywhere in this country or another. Been working for Nabors Drilling the last 6mo. and I am a fast learner, hardworking, and willing to travel anywhere and not scared of hard work or long hours, Been Looking in the the oil/gas industry and wind energy jobs, Please help with what ever you can assist me with

Hello! My boyfriend works offshore Great Yarmouth, two weeks on and two weeks off as an absailer. I won’t pretend to know much about this (and he’s offshore just now so I can’t ask him) but you need your offshore survival certificate and a health and safety update. He has worked for Cape and BIS Salamis. Maybe give either of them a call and ask where to start and they may point you in the right direction. It’s a good, mainly laid back type of work with really good pay, if you can handle being away from home, and neglecting poor girlfriends like me, haha! Hope it goes well xx

I’d suggest working up a resume. From the looks of the presidents stimulus package, I can’t see why you couldn’t get a government job. Put in the government job request and see what happens.
