how do you build a small wind turbine?

its for a school project called science research project. Please, I really need a good explination on how to build a SIMPLE wind turbine.

building a small wind turbine is really easy – but you have to work carefully and best follow a good instructional guide.
Hey Dude,
It is simple. Get a small DC motor. Get a Diode. Connect the diode cathode to the the motor terminal and anode to a LED and the other end of the LED to back to another terminal of the Motor.
Motor can act as a Generator, that is the point. Now to rotate it, fix a small fan at the shaft of the motor. Get a vacuum cleaner and keep it in blow mode. Point it to the fan to make the motor shaft rotate. This will generate small current enough to make your LED glow.
Presentation is the overall thing than the concept. People like to see, not to under stand.

Go to the nearest "habitat for humanity" store, pick up a second hand ceiling fan, and mount it sideways on a pole.
