I've never invested before, but I want to invest in clean forms of energy like: wind, solar, hydro, and even clean coal amongst other forms.
What I am asking is where on the net to look into this, research it, etc...And I would also like to know the first steps or any tips that anyone would like to offer me. Thank you

As you find companies, look thru all the info and see who their close competitors are. Then look at them too. On and on. Also, seeklingAplha is a good place to find companies, but don’t believe what you read.
To get you started, I own SOME of these.
Vestas, GE, Siemens, American SUperconductor (wind)
FIrst Solar, MEMC, ENER – (solar)
Thorium Power (nuclear substitute)
Chesapeake Energy, XTO (nat gas)
CCJ, ECOL, GE, SI, (nuclear)
If you want to invest in solar, then FSLR is the stock you want to buy.
GE has divisions that make Wind turbines.
How about Scalar Energy? I find it is really fascinating. It is in a growing trend as it concern healthy living and wellness.
I have tried the Test that show in the article with the Scalar Energy Pendant and it really works!
It looks bizzare, but it is real. I think more and more people will look into this energy.
