cheap and dirty using junk yard and cast off parts from other sources. get a heater blower fan motor out of a car, remove the squirrel cage fan and install a LARGE propeller from a model aircraft [18"-24"inches or so].or carve your own prop out of pine [balancing will be a chore]
some adapting will be necessary to fit the prop to the "D" shaped shaft.
strap mount the whole affair to a block of wood.and add a tail boom and fin
.an old release bearing can be used as a pivot on top of your tower.
don’t forget to make a couple of slip rings and brushes so power can be sent down the tower without twisting wires every time the wind direction changes.
note: short of operating this in a hurricane i doubt that this affair will illuminate even one automotive head lamp. it will in fact light a couple of #194 bulbs nicely, in a moderate but steady breeze
good luck, have fun.but do the work yourself.
