Can anybody tell me where I can find information about building a continuous feed charcoal kiln. I want to produce about 5 - 10 tons of charcoal per day from available biomass for use as alternative energy source. Also, I would like to use the heat coming off to generate electricity.

By siderurgy there is understood the set of technical operations that are realized to obtain the iron from the minerals that contain it (ores, principally oxides), as well as of the work of the same one. It(he,she) is busy with studying also the processes of production(elaboration) of all the derivatives of the iron, principally of the steels and the smeltings. The siderurgy constitutes the base of all the industrial economy.
The obtaining of the industrial iron is realized in high ovens, of vat, and the first obtained product, is named a cast-iron.
The production of cast-iron of a modern high oven is superior to 3000 Tm/día. His(her, your) work is uninterrupted, since of stopping, the refractory one of the oven is destroyed and it(he,she) would have to change. In normal conditions of march it works for some 10 years.
