There are several in Oklahoma, one in Lawton and one in Woodward for sure. Don’t know how much energy they are producing though.
there are…. but I don’t know… I think there’s one in kansas
There is a wind power farm in the Altamont Hills east of Livermore California.

They are in many states and more are being built all the time.
Right now, there are huge wind farms in California, Wyoming, Illinois, Kansas, etc., etc. There is a new large farm being built in western Indiana (Benton Co.), and I’m sure in many other states, too.
However, the total kilowatt hours generated by wind is a drop in the bucket compared to our total electrical demand, but every bit of clean energy generated helps.
Texas is positioning itself as the wind state. Lots of open, wind swept land.
35 of the states have operating wind power farms. The amount of energy they are producing varies per state. The top five states for wind power are:
(energy produced measured in MW= mega watts)
1. Texas – 4356.35 MW
2. California – 2438.83 MW
3. Minnesota – 1299.75 MW
4. Iowa – 1273.08 MW
5. Washington – 1163.18 MW
