What do you think are the most important advantages and most import disadvantages that will determine the future role of renewable energy.

The title didn't quite explain it well I think, but what I meant is that what country, in percentage, not production, have the highest percent of electricity produced from renewable energy resources?
Thanks
I was searching about it and I think New Zealand has quite a high one but I just can't quite seem to ensure that... a little hard to search.

I'm interested in the Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) produced by a Findland company called "Windside". Can anybody who has one, or knows of someone who operates one, actually attest to the viability of their low-RPM alternator/generators, and wind turbine designs?

I'd like to use a small VAWT on a condo roof, or to power an electric car or truck, like this one:

Thanks for all feedbacks.

What is your opinion on renewable energy and could you list some advantages and disadvantages? Also, do you think this is a good source of energy for the future of Australia?

for example would i be able to put a windmill in my back yard? No because of the spacing of the homes (are too close to each other) but what are some other factors that play an important role in choosing a good location for a windmill or a wind farm?

are there systems or methods that can be used for maintenance of landscape and at the same time can provide energy for structures?

Dubai is so innovative in it's technological advances of solar and wind energy. Could we not, as a well "civilized" society quit fighting over energy issues, and invest some of this energy in a companionship with the Middle Eastern research?

This is the idea they are working with right now.

I'm interested, especially if you work/invest in this area and have a good idea about what is going on in the industry, mostly U.S. Who are the major players? Where is the best area? Does it have a future? If so, what obstacles must it overcome?

A unique and effective platform for the popularization of Non Renewable Sources of Energy (NRSE) ,
the Renewable Energy Park (REP) scheme was initiated in 1994-95 with a view to create awareness,
provide publicity and enable rural and urban groups to explore NRSE systems and devices.

I am trying to make a very small wind turbine, i would like to know how to make a basic generator for it. I am assuming i need to use some sort of magnet, can somebody get back to me soon please.
it only needs to be a small one, i am just making a small turbine for fun

I need help with a school project, and the guidelines are the following:
"For this assignment you are to use recycled materials to create an apparatus that will heat 500 mL of water. You do not need to boil the water, but simply raise the temperature from its starting temperature. This must be achieved through solar or wind powered heating".
My teacher has mentioned terms such as HVAC, and suggestions such as colouring it in thick black paint, and using newspaper as a recycled heater method.
I was wondering if anyone could help me or throw some detailed suggestions on how I can achieve this with a budget and recycled material (wood, etc). So far, I've got this:
* For Insulation I am using a thermos, but this will not allow the "black + newspaper" idea to work, since a thermos won't allow heat in
* For heat generation, I am trying to get wind to transfer off force to rub wood against sandpaper, and the sandpaper will generate heat to heat the water.
