I want to take a regular motor and change it to make wind power. Can anybody give me a website that show me how to do this (or something like it). Please do not give a website that makes you buy something. I want a website that show me how to do it.

I am doing a project in Science (Essay) It involves Wind Turbines and Wind power. If there is a city of 122,000 people how many wind turbines would i need???? HELP ITS DUE IN TWO DAYS!!!!

I'm trying to find information on solar panels or wind turbines that would be able to power a whole neighborhood, along with how much it would cost.

What should be taken into consideration when developing a wind farm in a body of water (versus on land)? Are there any challenges that won't crop up with land-based turbines?

Wind farms seem to be a viable source for energy. What is the opposition to wind farms? Is it the start up cost?

I am doing a school project and I need to know how efficiently wind energy can be converted to electrical energy. I need to know percentages of energy lost due to friction and how it is converted thank you.

So I need to know how alternative energy sources work. that is the question i have the most problems on... if you wouldn't mind I would appreciate a sentence or two on these two questions about alternative energy sources.

Air conditioning and other minor car appliances. Could a system similar to a small wind turbine not only power car appliances but create extra vacuum of wind from the turbine blades cooling engine bay or braking systems. However I am not sure if the turbines would cause problems such as A) make the cars engine work harder due to resistance, B) having the technology for the wind turbines/generators made small enough for this application and C) produce enough power to run even small systems like lights, audio systems or air conditioning. Maybe the turbines could work in conjunction with solar roof panels working with the cars alternator. Is this idea flawed, what's your opinion. Cheers John.

I have to give a speech for a class where i have to persuade the audience to vote for a bill which requires all energy providers in the US to have at least certain percentage of its energy source from renewable sources. I need to know how much they use now, so that i have an idea of how much the required percent would be reasonable. If you know any representative who has proposed a similar bill, please let me know.

I know that there are many advantages but also disadvantages of wind power, but overall would it help our environment?
